Guidelines for poster presentation

While preparing your poster, please follow the instructions below.

Your poster should include:

  • Paper title
  • All authors
  • Affiliations
  • Introduction/Abstract
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • References

General guidelines:

  • Use short and concise sentences to illustrate your points.
  • Text should be accompanied by graphics or photos.
  • Graphics or photos should be self-explanatory.
  • 1 page of poster per title.
  • Your poster should disclose key messages of your research at first sight.
  • Use a font (e.g., Arial) that is readable at first sight.
  • Use the poster template of the conference (70cmX100cm) in preparing your poster.
  • Choose the colors that provide strong contrast.
  • Avoid pairing red and green elements to assist those with color blindness.
  • Print a high-resolution copy of your poster to present onsite (70cmX100cm).
  • Submit a softcopy of your poster in PDF format. The organizer retains the rights to distribute the poster PDF while the authors retain the copyright.

Setting up your poster at the conference venue:

  • Bring your high-resolution printed poster with you to the conference venue.
  • Set up your printed poster at least one hour before your session start time.
  • Poster presenters are required to stand by the poster during the scheduled poster session to answer questions from the conference attendees.
  • Presenters must remove their printed posters immediately after the poster session, without which the posters may be disposed of without compensation by the conference organizer.
